New flights from Tenerife with Ryanair!
Ryanair, the largest low cost airplane company in Europe, announced at a press conference on September 12, that the company will operate six flights from Tenerife during the winter season of 2007-2008, transporting 255.000 passengers to and from the island during this time.
Caitrona Beggan, senior marketing and sales executive of Ryanair in Spain and Portugal reported that 80.000 people have already flown on the Tenerife-Dublin and Tenerife-Girona flights that have been operative from Tenerife North since December 8, 2006. She also said that already 15.000 reservations have been made for the new routes to East Midlands, Liverpool, Frankfurt Hahn and Shannon in Western Ireland.
Thanks to the large acceptance by the public of the first two connections to Tenerife and the delivery of new 737-800 Boeing airplanes, the company has been able to carry out its expansion plan on the island.
You will not be able to find cheaper prices, as some flights cost only 10 euros, tax included, therefore Ryan Air’s success is guaranteed.
The route to Eastern Midlands from Tenerife South commences on October 10, and will take place twice a week. Tenerife South to Liverpool and Frankfurt Hahn (Germany) will commence on October 30, and will take place three times a week. The flights to Shannon (West Ireland) commence on November 10, and will take place once a week. All of the flights will depart from Tenerife South from October 18.
